FROM THE EAST: (Short Hills, Millburn,
Maplewood, Oranges). Take Route 78 West to Exit
40. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp.
Go 1 mile to 4-way stop with blinker at the Union
Village Church. Go through intersection toward Gillette,
going as straight as possible. Camp Riverbend
is 1/4 mile ahead on right.
FROM THE SOUTH: (Edison, Plainfield)
Go North on County Route 531. Cross Route 22
at North Plainfield. Go to center of Watchung
(Watchung Circle). Follow signs to Route 78.
Cross Route 78 to 4-way stop at the Union Village
Church. Go
through intersection toward Gillette, going as straight
as possible. Camp Riverbend is 1/4 mile ahead
on right.
FROM THE SOUTH-EAST: (Westfield,
Scotch Plains) Cross Route 22 at Scotch Plains.
Turn left up Bonnie Burn Road. Go to traffic
light at Mountain Avenue in Berkeley Heights.
Turn left, and follow to 4 way stop at Union Village
Church. Turn right onto Hillcrest Road.
Camp Riverbend is 1/4 mile ahead on right.
FROM THE NORTH-EAST: (Livingston,
Chatham) Take JFK Parkway to Summit. Continue
straight to a traffic light at Morris Avenue. Go
straight, then take first right onto Watchung Ave.
At the first traffic light, turn left onto River Rd.
Go about 4 miles, turn left onto Bridge Street,
follow to traffic light. Turn right onto Springfield
Avenue. Go to 2nd light at Stewart’s
Root Beer restaurant. Turn left onto Mountain
Avenue. Cross small bridge; name of the road
changes to Hillcrest Road. Camp Riverbend is
1/10 of a mile of the left.
FROM THE WEST: (Bedminster, Bridgewater)
Take Route 287 to Exit 17 to Route 78 East.
Follow to Exit 40. Turn left crossing over Route
78, go 1 mile to 4-way stop. Go through intersection
toward Gillette going as straight as possible.
Camp Riverbend is 1/4 mile ahead on right.
