Why should KIDS have all the fun at Camp Riverbend?
Each year parents tell us that they would like to spend a day playing at camp.
Family Camp Day is that day! It's a day for parents (and kids too) to enjoy many fun Riverbend activities, including high ropes, archery, canoeing, cooking, lanyard, gaga, a barbecue lunch and more!
Saturday October 25, 10 am -1 pm, rain or shine
This event is free but only open to families who register for the 2015 season by October 25. That's also the last day to take advantage of our
RSVP required. Hope you can join the fun!

Clubhouse Zip Line
Now our youngest campers can experience the thrill of ziplining. We've added a special zipline area just for children currently in nursery school. To start, they climb up to the "treehouse" where the zipline starts. All campers, at all ages, wear a safety harness and helmet while on a zipline or high ropes element.
Then they zip down the line to the other raised platform, where a counselor is waiting to catch them, and unhook them from the line!
A new miniature golf course!
Check out these cool obstacles. Fore!

Legoland on the Passaic: Camp Riverbend is creating our very own LegoLand for this summer. We have buckets and tubs of Legos and Mega Bloks, which will stay in the Legoland cabin. Its a great place for groups to go for a PIY or for our amazing Lego clubs to meet!
The Cookout Pavilion: Replacing a bubble tent, our Cookout Pavilion is currently under construction this month near karate and the high ropes course. It gives us much more room for cookouts, and another comfortable and roomy indoor space for rainy days!
3rd Grade Late Nite: More fun for campers as they grow up at Riverbend. Once during the summer, rising 3rd graders will stay late at camp for an afternoon of extra swimming and games, followed by dinner and a campfire with s'mores, songs and a fun campfire story to top off the evening. Parent pick-up at 7 pm.
Downward Dogs and Seated Butterflies
We are introducing Yoga at Camp Riverbend this summer. Our certified instructor will be guiding our campers through this ancient art. Campers will gain flexibilty, strength and learn calming techniques. What fun to experience the joys of yoga in an outdoor setting! Gives a new meaning to tree, butterfly and frog poses!
Also New for 2012...
Upgraded soccer field with plastic barrier walls

New Clubhouse cooking program: Each of our Clubhouse groups will do cooking activities once or twice a week, exploring tastes, textures, techniques and nutrition.
